The highest point above sea level stands the famous Mount Everest,
between Tibet, Nepal and China in the Himalayan range.
One of the toughest mountains to climb and many people have
attempted to climb it; some were successful and others were not.
There are reports that state the Mount Everest had claimed some
two hundred and ten lives over the years. Fifteen of those deaths
were attributed to Mt. Everest when the climbers were descending
the mountain. They died in the death zone one of the mountains
most treacherous areas, with wind and weather that is impossible to
withstand. There is one route for climbers that are less treacherous
although it too had many dangers at some of its points.
